Description

Would you like to get to grips with throwing on the electric potter’s wheel and immerse yourself in the world of throwing? In this course you will learn all the technical steps required to make your own ceramic vessels. The first two evenings you will practice centering the clay, learning how to break it up, pull it up and shape it. On the third evening, I will show you how to rework (turn) the leather-hard vessels. Finally, you will be inspired by the variety of all my glazes and glaze the resulting vessels according to your own ideas. You can collect the finished fired mugs, small bowls and more from my studio 1 – 2 weeks later.
