Would you like to get to grips with turning on the electric potter’s wheel and immerse yourself in the world of clay? In the course you will learn all the technical steps required to make your own ceramic vessels.
On the first day you will practise intensively centring the clay, learning how to break it up, pull it up and shape it. On the second day, you will rework (turn) the leather-hard vessels under my guidance and I will show you the technique of plate turning on the wheel. Finally, let yourself be inspired by the variety of all my glazes and glaze the resulting vessels according to your own ideas. You can collect the finished fired mugs, small bowls and more from my studio 1 – 2 weeks later.
