You are fascinated by spinning on the electric wheel, you want to know more about it and try it out for yourself. Perhaps you have already attended a taster course and would like more…
In this course I will show you the basic know-how over four evenings, which will enable you to create your first vessels independently on the wheel.
On the first and second evening you will practise centring the clay, you will learn how to break it up, pull it up and shape it. You will also learn how to create a plate on the wheel.
On the third evening, I will show you how to finish (turn) the now leather-hard vessels.
Finally, you will be inspired by the variety of all my glazes and glaze the resulting vessels according to your own ideas. You can collect the finished fired mugs, small bowls and more from my studio about 2 weeks later.
